In accordance with the unified deployment of the University Party Committee, the mobilization meeting for the Second Inspection Group of the Fourth Round of Inspections by the 14th Northwest University Party Committee was held on November 19, 2025. The meeting was for inspecting the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages. Attendees included Jiang Lin, the Party Secretary of the university and Head of the Inspection Work Leading Group; Zhang Yuanjun, the Deputy Party Secretary of the university and Head of the Second Inspection Group; Ren Junrui, Director of the Party Committee Inspection Office; all members of the Second Inspection Group; all members of the School’s Party and Administration leadership team, Party Committee members, Party branch secretaries, department heads, representatives to the Party Congress and the Staff Congress, representatives of non-party personages, trade union committee members, Youth League Committee members, representatives of administrative and support staff, teacher representatives, and student representatives. The meeting was chaired by Cao Ruonan, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages.

At the meeting, Ren Junrui, Director of the Party Committee Inspection Office, read out the “Inspection Notice”. Zhang Yuanjun, Head of the Second Inspection Group, delivered a mobilization speech. He put forward work requirements regarding the work objectives and basic principles, inspection targets and key content, work methods, and work discipline of this inspection.

Jiang Lin emphasized in his speech that inspection is an important responsibility granted by the Party Constitution. It is a major measure for deeply advancing the comprehensive strict governance of the Party and strengthening inner-party supervision. It strongly promotes the inspected unit’s adherence to the Party's overall leadership, strengthens Party construction, and drives career development. It is a comprehensive review of the inspected Party organization's performance in governing the Party, development strategies, internal management, and other aspects. He expressed the hope that this inspection would accurately grasp the actual situation of the School in implementing strict comprehensive  governance of the Party and in the process of running the School. This will provide more targeted work measures and development paths for the reform and development of the School and the University. First, enhance the political stance and build consensus on inspection. Adhere to the positioning of political inspection, further enhance the political stance, and unify thoughts and actions with the requirements of the Party Central Committee and the deployments of the University Party Committee. This ensures the School maintains high-quality development in the correct direction. Second, precisely focus on key inspection areas and strive to identify deep-seated problems. Focus on reviewing four areas: implementing the Party's lines, principles, policies, and higher-level decisions; the strategic deployment for comprehensive strict governance of the Party; the Party's organizational line in the new era; and the responsibility for rectifying issues found in previous inspections. Ensure genuine and practical rectification to consolidate and expand the results. Third, strengthen responsibility and coordination to ensure joint efforts in the inspection. The School Party Committee must earnestly shoulder the primary responsibility. The School Party Committee leadership should accept supervision with high political consciousness, identify their own problems, and report the situation truthfully. Foster a good atmosphere conducive to voluntary acceptance of supervision and discovering/solving problems. Through the inspection, promote the School of Foreign Languages to deeply implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. Further enhance its ability to serve national strategic needs and regional economic and social development. Make greater contributions to the University's career development.

Zhao Zhihou, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages, made a statement. He stated that the entire School should enhance its political stance and voluntarily accept supervision. Communication and coordination should be strengthened to provide full cooperation. Responsibility should be reinforced to advance problem rectification. With the guidance and help of the Inspection Group, the School will further clarify its thinking, solidify responsibilities, identify and fill gaps, improve systems, and refine measures. This will continuously promote new achievements in the School's Party construction, reform, and development.

The Second Inspection Group will work at the School of Foreign Languages for approximately one month. During the inspection period, a dedicated contact phone line is set: 18291923157.
